Beta terms
These are the terms for taking part in the ProForta beta. They are written plainly on purpose. By applying for or using the beta, you agree to them.
What the beta is
ProForta is an early product. The beta is a small, free, hands-on group of people on a GLP-1 who use it and tell us what to fix. Expect rough edges, changes, and the occasional bug. It is Android-first for now, because the data path connects through Google Health Connect.
This is a wellness tool, not medical care
ProForta is a wellness and information tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not tell you what dose to take or how to manage your medication. Your clinician remains the decision-maker on your GLP-1 therapy and any treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, changing, or stopping any medication. If you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service.
Your account and eligibility
- You must be an adult (18 or older) to take part.
- Places are limited (about 50 in this cohort) and offered at our discretion. Applying does not guarantee a place.
- You sign in with LifeCare.ID®, which holds your identity key on your device. Keep it secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Your data
How your data is handled is described in our privacy policy. In short: your raw health data stays at source and on your own node, the app only sees interpreted results, and you can revoke access at any time through LifeCare.ID®. You keep ownership of your data.
Feedback
Part of the beta is telling us what is wrong with it. If you send feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve ProForta without obligation to you. We will never publish your health data.
The beta can be wrong
ProForta is an early product and its outputs — scores, trends, insights, and suggestions — may be incomplete, delayed, or simply wrong. Treat them as one input among several, not as the basis for health decisions on their own. When something looks off, tell us; when it matters, check with your clinician. Beta data may also be lost or reset despite our backups, though we work to prevent it.
Availability and changes
The beta is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, break, or be removed, and the beta may pause or end. We may update these terms as the product matures; for material changes we will tell beta participants directly.
Leaving the beta
You can leave at any time. Revoke your data grants in LifeCare.ID® and ask us to delete your application and account data, and we will confirm when it is done.
Limits of liability
The beta is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of ProForta and Enbarca Inc. (doing business as HCVC.net) for any claim arising from the beta — whether the loss is direct, indirect, or consequential — is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is zero. Some laws do not allow parts of this limitation: nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law (for example, liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury where such exclusions are not permitted). We state that plainly rather than pretend otherwise.
Who we are, and governing law
ProForta is operated by Enbarca Inc., a Florida corporation (United States), doing business as HCVC.net. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. As the product matures we may assign these terms to a successor or affiliated ProForta operating company; the promises in them travel with the assignment, and we will tell beta participants when that happens. These terms are subject to legal review and changes; for material changes we will tell beta participants directly.
